Janitorial Clean Work Scope
These are the basic work scope guidelines we follow when providing janitorial services to our clients. Please note that we are able to customize cleaning services to meet the individual needs of each customer.GENERAL CLEANING FREQUENCY AND STANDARDS
All areas are kept in a clean, shiny, and polished condition.
The following specifications are recommendations depending upon service frequency, but can be adjusted by the contractor to maintain the cleanliness and appearance required.
Offices
Each Visit:- Trash and recycle receptacles emptied and liners replaced as needed
- Desks, furniture, picture frames, moldings, and window ledges dusted. Paperwork will not be disturbed if present.
- Carpets vacuumed and all tiled surfaces mopped
- Smudges cleaned from light switches, office windows, doors, door handles and any other surface that is touched daily
- White board surfaces cleaned if requested
- All walls, moldings and kick plates up to six feet high spot cleaned
- Partition walls dusted
- Exterior of all waste receptacles spot cleaned as needed
- Counters in all kitchen, conference and other areas wiped and disinfected
- Books, magazines and furniture in common areas organized as needed
- Front window glass cleaned
- Strip and wax floor
- Carpet steam clean
- Upholstery steam clean
- Floors in designated areas buffed
- Carpet spot cleaned
- Vertical and horizontal blinds dusted
Common Areas

Rest Rooms
Each Visit- All trash and recycle receptacles emptied and liners replaced as needed
- All paper, soap and deodorization supplies restocked; dispensers refilled
- Partitions, doors and doorknobs washed and disinfected
- Smudges cleaned from light switches, office windows, doors, door handles and any other surface that is touched daily.
- All walls, moldings and kick plates up to six feet high spot cleaned
- Faucets, countertops and mirrors cleaned/disinfected and polished
- All stainless steel door hand plates cleaned/disinfected and polished
- All horizontal surfaces within reach without the use of a ladder dusted and cleaned
- All waste receptacle exteriors spot cleaned as needed.
- All restroom fixtures and towel dispensers cleaned/disinfected and polished
- All stainless steel and entry door hardware cleaned/disinfected and polished
- Floors swept and damp mopped with a germicidal cleaner. Special attention paid to surrounding areas of toilets and urinals
- Toilets and urinals cleaned with disinfectant/deodorizing cleaner inside and out. Special attention paid to underneath, base and inside of toilet/urinal.
- All work is performed between the hours of closing time and opening time
- Mop water will be dumped when dirty/gray looking or daily, whichever comes first
- All trash and recyclable materials will be hauled to designated dumpsters each visit
- Janitorial supply provided by client or by Bravo Clean, whichever the customer prefers.
